Black Sherif Wins VGMA 2023 Artiste of the Year

The 2023 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA) for Artiste of the Year went to Ghanaian afrobeat and hip-hop artist Black Sherif.
On Saturday, May 6, 2023, he received the award at the Accra International Conference Centre.

Black Sherif, whose real name is Mohammed Ismail Sherif, was competing against Piesie Esther, Sarkodie, Stonebwoy, King Promise, Kidi, Camidoh, and Joe Mettle for Artiste of the Year.
