Ivorian singer, DJ Arafat has been reported dead. The 33-year-old singer died after a road accident in Abidjan, the state broadcaster RTI said on Monday.
“Death of artist DJ Arafat… today at 8 am as a result of a road accident overnight,” the tweet read.
Based on pictures and posts circulating on social media, DJ Arafat, 33, had been driving a motorbike and smashed into a car. He was taken to an Abidjan hospital, where he later died.
DJ Arafat has 11 albums and several awards to his name.
