PRODUCER PRICE FOR RAW CASHEW NUTS FOR 2021 CASHEW SEASON
Following the NATIONAL PRODUCERS MEETING at Techiman, BonoEast Region (22/01/21) and subsequent meeting briefings to farmers in the producer district capitals, today (24/01/21),
I hereby announce to PRODUCERS and the trading partners that the FLOOR/MINIMUM PRICE for RAW CASHEW NUTS (RCN) at farmgate is GHC 8.00,per kilogram.
The National Executive committee, hereby stresses that all FARMERS in the Districts, communities and societies throughout out Ghana strictly abide by the directive and ensure that they sell their products nowhere below the FLOOR price.
Anyone who encounters difficulty in selling his/her product should contact the National secretary through their respective district societies.
The district Secretariat is hereby to collate all such cases and declare to the National secretary for assistance.
