This year, from June through October, the Capital One City Parks Foundation, an independent non-profit in New York, USA, will organize its yearly outdoor music event under the name “SummerStage.” On August 13th, 2022, they will present an Afrobeat performance in the Bronx, New York.
One of the most well-liked, widely accessible, free outdoor performing arts festivals in New York, the festival offers free live performances in all genres.
Shatta Wale, a reggae-dancehall artist from Ghana, Wiyaala, Dj Freshyk, and a host of other African and worldwide music icons are among the headliners for the August 13 concert.
The 2022 season of SummerStage will carry on the tradition of bringing together some of the most prominent musical figures in the world who embody a variety of musical genres and cultural offerings, including jazz, hip hop, Latin, global, indie, and contemporary dance.
Erika Elliott, the Executive Artistic Director of SummerStage, made the following statement in a formal news release:

SummerStage presents distinctly New York genres like salsa, jazz, and hip hop along with indie, reggae, Afrobeat, soul, modern dance, and much more in the local neighborhood parks. Renowned performers and up-and-coming stars from all over the world are showcased there.

Shatta Wale’s group of friends and Enoch Kofi Bannerman, CEO of restless media, both expressed their excitement about partnering with him on the music promotion.
