Ghanaian rapper of international repute, Sarkodie has reacted to his ‘poor’ tag hanged on his neck by his friend, Shatta Wale during the time they were beefing.
Speaking in an interview with American journalist, Vladislav Lyubovny commonly known as DJ Vlad on Vlad TV, Sarkodie laughed out loud when the question was posed to him. In reaction, Sarkodie said he had no issues with Wale during the time they were beefing because he came to the conclusion that the Dancehall artiste thrives on controversy.
Sarkodie said since he knows controversy sells for Shatta Wale, he realized the infamous ‘he’s poor’ tag was a product of his gimmicks so he never paid attention to him, thinking he would snap out it soon but he never did for which reason he dissed him in the song, My Advise.
Sarkodie further reminded the journalist that he has patched things up with Shatta Wale and that he supported him at his Black Love Virtual Concert a couple of weeks ago.
