Award-winning Ghanaian highlife artiste Fameye has disclosed why he stopped going to church.
Speaking in an interview with Abeiku Santana on Atuu show on UTV, Fameye disclosed that he used to attend church a lot until his hairstyle was criticized by some women in the church.
” I don’t go to church but I pray a lot.I stopped going to church after my hairstyle was constantly criticized…some women in the church always complained about my hairstyle and the way I wear earrings. I got tired of the criticisms so I stopped attending church.” He stated.
Abeiku Santana however encouraged him to come and join him at his church because nobody cares about how one dresses or looks.
Meanwhile, Fameye won the award for Best New Artiste of the year at the just ended Vodafone Ghana Music Awards.
