Wizkid sets new record at Headies awards
Nigerian superstar, Wizkid continues to break records and set new ones by himself and he did exactly that again at the 14 edition of the Headies awards.
The awards held virtually yesterday at the La Campane Tropicana Beach Resort situated In Lekki, Nigeria has the Afrobeat star emerging as the overall artist of the year.
It is the first time in the awards history that a single Nigerian artist was crowned winner in that category 3 times.
Wizkid achieved the feat by grabbing the award in 2012, 2016 and the Immediate past one which is arguably the tightest race for him considering the stiff competition from Davido and Burna Boy.
