In Ghana, the start of Academic certificate starts from the Basic level, and you can’t enter the Senior High school without a certificate from the Basic level.
Its however a very sad situation when children will have to travel for hours before reaching the examination centre.
Reporting from the Northern Region, Angel TV correspondent Ali Busu informed Captain Smart on his Anopa Bofo show that all is set for the Basic Education Certificate Examination to commence today.
But he sadly added that some of the candidates who had to travel for almost two hours before reaching the examination centre around the Volta lake suffered after the boat they were travelling in Capsized.
While 18 of them were rescued, sone were in critical condition because the rescue team had tough time finding them.
The search or rescue team is still scouting whether there are still any humans in there.
